Maruti Suzuki records highest-ever annual production in 2025

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd on Friday announced that it achieved a record annual production of 22.55 lakh units in the calendar year 2025, marking a growth of 9.3 per cent compared to the previous year.

The country’s largest carmaker said this is the second consecutive year it has crossed the 20 lakh-unit milestone in annual production. The total output includes vehicles manufactured for domestic sales, exports as well as original equipment manufacturer (OEM) supplies.

In 2024, the company had produced 20.63 lakh units. Maruti Suzuki attributed the strong production performance to sustained demand across segments and improved operational efficiencies, according to a company statement.
