Wakefit raises ₹186 crore ahead of IPO
Home-and-furnishings firm Wakefit Innovations Ltd announced that it has mobilised ₹186 crore from three major investors — Steadview Capital, WhiteOak Capital and Capital 2B — ahead of its upcoming initial public offering (IPO).
As per the company’s disclosure, the investors collectively purchased 95.57 lakh equity shares at ₹195 apiece. Individually, Steadview invested around ₹101 crore, WhiteOak committed ₹72 crore and Capital 2B infused ₹13 crore.
This pre-IPO infusion comes on the heels of the company securing ₹580 crore in anchor investor allocations just days earlier. With anchor and pre-IPO funding in place, Wakefit is now gearing up to launch a full IPO — valued at about ₹1,289 crore — which opens for subscription on December 8.
