Huma Qureshi calls ‘Delhi Crime’ Season 3 role her darkest and most disgusting yet

Actor Huma Qureshi has described her upcoming role in the third season of Netflix’s acclaimed series “Delhi Crime” as the “darkest and most disgusting” of her career.

The International Emmy-winning series returns with Shefali Shah reprising her role as DIG Vartika Chaturvedi, who this time investigates a nationwide human trafficking racket.

Qureshi, known for powerful performances in films like “Gangs of Wasseypur”, “Badlapur” and “Monica, O My Darling”, will portray Meena, also known as Badi Didi, a ruthless trafficker central to the new season’s storyline.

Speaking about her experience, the actor said the character pushed her to emotional extremes. “This is the darkest, most disgusting role of my career. I had to put my best foot forward to do justice to the part,” Qureshi shared.

The new season of “Delhi Crime” promises a gripping narrative exploring power, morality, and justice amid the grim realities of organized crime.
