Reliance Consumer Products to Invest Rs 1,156 Crore in Tamil Nadu
Reliance Consumer Products Ltd is set to invest Rs 1,156 crore to establish an integrated manufacturing facility in Tamil Nadu, State Industries Minister TRB Rajaa announced on Wednesday.
The new facility will be developed on a 60-acre plot at the SIPCOT Allikulam Industrial Park in Tuticorin. It will focus on multi-product manufacturing, including regional snacks, biscuits, spices, and edible oil, among other items.
According to Minister Rajaa, the factory is expected to generate around 2,000 local jobs over the next five years, boosting employment and supporting regional economic growth.
