Ericsson Wins Airtel Managed Services Deal

Ericsson Secures Multi-Year Managed Services Deal from Bharti Airtel
Telecom gear maker Ericsson on Monday announced that it has signed a multi-year Managed Services (MS) contract with Bharti Airtel, one of India’s leading telecom operators.
Under the agreement, Ericsson will manage Airtel’s nationwide network through its centralized Network Operations Centre (NOC). The scope of the deal includes oversight and optimization of Airtel’s 4G, 5G Non-Standalone (NSA), 5G Standalone (SA), Fixed Wireless Access (FWA), Private Networks, and Network Slicing technologies.
The partnership aims to ensure seamless network performance, enhanced customer experience, and efficient operations leveraging Ericsson’s latest AI and automation capabilities.
“This collaboration builds on our long-standing relationship with Airtel and underlines our commitment to delivering high-quality network performance and innovation in India,” Ericsson said in a statement.
However, financial details of the contract have not been disclosed.
Ericsson and Airtel have worked together for several years on various network expansion and modernization projects. The latest agreement is expected to play a crucial role in Airtel’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its next-generation digital infrastructure across the country.
