‘Homebound’ Team Graces Cannes Red Carpet Ahead of Film’s Screening

Indian filmmaker Neeraj Ghaywan and the star cast of his latest film Homebound made a striking appearance on the red carpet at the 78th Cannes Film Festival. The film is set to be screened in the prestigious Un Certain Regard section of the festival.

Marking Ghaywan’s return to Cannes after nearly a decade, this is his second film to be showcased at the French Riviera gala. His debut feature Masaan premiered in the same segment in 2015 and went on to win two awards, earning him international acclaim.

Walking alongside Ghaywan at the event on Tuesday evening were Homebound’s lead actors Ishaan Khatter, Vishal Jethwa, and Janhvi Kapoor, as well as noted filmmaker and producer Karan Johar, who has backed the film under the banner of Dharma Productions.

The appearance of the Homebound team drew significant attention from global media and film enthusiasts, highlighting the growing influence of Indian cinema on the world stage.
