Over 34.12 Lakh Odisha Farmers Receive 21st PM-Kisan Instalment

More than 34.12 lakh farmers in Odisha received the 21st instalment of the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme on Wednesday, officials said.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the instalment—₹2,000 per beneficiary—during an event held in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Across India, nine crore farmers collectively received ₹18,000 crore under the scheme’s latest payout.

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Deputy Chief Minister K.V. Singh Deo attended the programme virtually from Bhubaneswar, marking yet another major disbursement aimed at supporting farmers ahead of the Rabi season.
