Vikramaditya Chaufla to Captain India in World Racketlon Championship
Vikramaditya Chaufla has been appointed as the captain of the six-member India squad for the upcoming World Racketlon Championship, set to take place in Rotterdam from July 31 to August 4.Racketlon, a unique combination sport, requires competitors to showcase their skills in four racket sports: table tennis, badminton, tennis, and squash.
Chaufla, a former badminton player, brings considerable experience to the team, having been a part of the India racketlon squad in the previous two World Championships. His impressive performance in the 2022 edition, also held in Rotterdam, earned him a silver medal in the individual category.
The Indian team, under Chaufla’s leadership, is gearing up to make a strong showing at this year’s championship, aiming to build on their previous successes and bring home more accolades.
