Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar will visit Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, on September 25, 2024, to preside over the inaugural session of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS) 2024. The event, which will run from September 25 to 29, is the second edition of the prestigious trade show, aimed at promoting the trade and culture of Uttar Pradesh.

As the Chief Guest, Dhankhar will deliver the keynote address during the opening ceremony of UPITS. This year’s edition will feature Vietnam as the Partner Country, adding an international dimension to the event.

UPITS is an important platform for showcasing the state’s diverse industries, craftsmanship, and economic potential. The first edition of the trade show, held in 2023, was inaugurated by the President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu. This year’s event is expected to further strengthen Uttar Pradesh’s global trade connections while celebrating its rich cultural heritage.
