Sony Music India, Tiger Baby, and Ankur Tewari Launch New Music Label ‘Tiger Baby Records’

Sony Music Entertainment India has partnered with Tiger Baby and acclaimed singer-composer Ankur Tewari to launch Tiger Baby Records, a new music label dedicated to fostering emerging musical talent.

Led by renowned filmmakers Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti, Tiger Baby is expanding its creative footprint into the music industry through this collaboration. With Ankur Tewari at the helm as curator, the label aims to showcase fresh and diverse musical voices across genres.

“We have always believed in the power of storytelling, whether through films or music. With Tiger Baby Records, we hope to create a space for unique and original music to thrive,” Akhtar and Kagti said in a joint statement.

Sony Music Entertainment India, known for backing innovative musical ventures, expressed confidence in the partnership. “This collaboration aligns with our vision to push boundaries and bring forth fresh sounds that resonate with audiences,” said a Sony Music spokesperson.
