Silver futures dip as traders trim positions

Silver Futures Fall ₹28 as Traders Cut Bets
Silver prices edged lower in futures trade on Monday as participants trimmed their positions amid cautious market sentiment.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), silver contracts for September delivery slipped by ₹28, or 0.02 per cent, to ₹1,16,208 per kilogram in a business turnover of 12,841 lots.
Analysts said the decline was largely due to profit-booking and a reduction of bets at prevailing levels, which weighed on overall silver prices.
Market watchers added that global cues will also play a key role in determining short-term price trends.
