Shah Rukh Khan Surprises Cast of ‘Come Fall in Love – The DDLJ Musical’ During London Rehearsals

Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan thrilled the cast and crew of the upcoming stage musical Come Fall in Love – The DDLJ Musical with a surprise visit to their London rehearsals, just weeks ahead of its UK premiere.

The musical is a reimagined adaptation of Khan’s 1995 classic film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ), directed by Aditya Chopra. Khan, who played the iconic role of Raj in the original film, stopped by the rehearsal set in London, delighting performers and creative staff alike with his unannounced appearance.

Khan’s visit comes in the run-up to the musical’s highly anticipated UK debut at the Manchester Opera House, where it will run from May 29 to June 21. The stage production marks director Aditya Chopra’s return to the beloved story, this time retelling it through the lens of musical theatre for international audiences.
