SBI’s Net Profit Remains Steady at Rs 17,035 Crore for Q1

The State Bank of India (SBI) reported a nearly unchanged standalone net profit of Rs 17,035 crore for the first quarter of the current financial year, showing modest growth from the Rs 16,884 crore profit recorded in the same period last year.

The country’s largest lender also saw a rise in total income, which increased to Rs 1,22,688 crore for the April-June quarter, up from Rs 1,08,039 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year. This increase in income highlights SBI’s continued strong performance despite the stable net profit figures.

The bank’s consistent profit and income growth reflect its robust financial position and operational stability in a competitive banking environment.
