SAI NSNIS Patiala Hosts Orientation for High Performance Directors, Managers

The Sports Authority of India (SAI) kicked off a two-day orientation programme on Friday for 19 High Performance Directors (HPDs) and High Performance Managers (HPMs) from sports centres across the country at the Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports (NSNIS) in Patiala.

This initiative is designed to strengthen the leadership skills of HPDs and HPMs, playing a crucial role in the development of India’s sports ecosystem. With a focus on achieving excellence in high-performance sports, the programme aims to enhance the strategic capabilities of key personnel managing high-performance athletes and training regimes.

The orientation features 15 HPDs and four HPMs, who will interact with top experts and speakers in the field of high-performance sports management. The discussions are set to cover a range of topics critical to elevating India’s standing in international sports.
