President Murmu Pays Tributes to Dr Rajendra Prasad on Birth Anniversary

President Droupadi Murmu on Wednesday paid floral tributes to Dr Rajendra Prasad, India’s first President, on his birth anniversary at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Dr Prasad, a key figure in India’s freedom struggle and the chairperson of the Constituent Assembly, served as the nation’s first President from 1950 to 1962. The President honoured his legacy by offering floral respects at his portrait inside the presidential estate.
