PM Pays Tribute to Bharat Ratna Dr. M.G. Ramachandran on His Jayanti

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday paid tributes to Bharat Ratna Dr. M.G. Ramachandran (MGR), the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, on the occasion of his birth anniversary, recalling his enduring contributions to the state and to Indian society at large.

In a statement, the Prime Minister highlighted MGR’s multifaceted legacy, noting his pivotal role in the socio-economic development of Tamil Nadu and his efforts to take Tamil culture to the global stage.
