PM Modi Greets Indian Navy Personnel on Navy Day

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi extended his greetings to all personnel of the Indian Navy on the occasion of Navy Day. In a message shared on X, the Prime Minister lauded the Navy for its courage, determination, and dedication to safeguarding India’s maritime interests.

“Our Navy is synonymous with exceptional courage and determination. They safeguard our shores and uphold our maritime interests. In recent years, our Navy has focused on self-reliance and modernisation, enhancing our security apparatus,” Shri Modi said.

Recalling his recent interaction with naval personnel, the Prime Minister added, “I can never forget this year’s Diwali, which I spent with Naval personnel on board INS Vikrant. Wishing the Indian Navy the very best for their endeavours ahead.”

Navy Day is celebrated every year to honour the Indian Navy’s contributions to national security, maritime safety, and defence readiness.
