Narendra Modi on Thursday extended his heartfelt greetings to citizens across the country on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, highlighting the timeless relevance of Lord Ram’s ideals.

In his message, the Prime Minister said that the life of Lord Ram—revered as Maryada Purushottam—continues to inspire people with values of sacrifice, penance and self-restraint. He noted that these ideals provide strength and determination to face challenges in every phase of life.

Emphasising the universal appeal of Lord Ram’s teachings, Modi said they would remain a guiding force not only for India but for humanity at large for generations to come.

Taking to social media platform X, the Prime Minister conveyed his wishes in Hindi, praying for the well-being of all and expressing hope that Lord Ram’s blessings would help pave the way for a developed and self-reliant India.

Ram Navami marks the birth of Lord Ram and is celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm across the country, with devotees offering prayers, organising processions and participating in religious events.
