BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Governor Raghubar Das, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, and former Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik extended their heartfelt greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Adha on Monday.

Governor Das took to X (formerly Twitter) to convey his wishes, stating, “Hon’ble Governor wishes everyone a happy #Eid. May the auspicious occasion of #EidAlAdha spread the spirit of togetherness, harmony, peace, and happiness for all. #EidMubarak.”

Former Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik joined in the celebratory messages, emphasizing the importance of unity and brotherhood during this festive time.

Eid-ul-Adha, also known as the “Festival of Sacrifice,” is one of the most significant festivals in the Islamic calendar, symbolizing the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son in obedience to God’s command. The festival is marked by prayers, feasts, and acts of charity, fostering a sense of community and compassion among people.

The greetings from the state leaders reflect the spirit of harmony and goodwill, encouraging everyone to come together in celebration and solidarity.
