Odisha CM Urges Bureaucrats to Leverage PM Modi’s Support

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Wednesday called upon Odisha’s bureaucrats to capitalize on the strong support extended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the state’s development. Speaking at a high-level meeting with top officials, Majhi emphasized the importance of utilizing this opportunity to address challenges and drive progress.

“Prime Minister Modi has a special focus on Odisha’s development. We must take advantage of his all-out support to achieve our goals,” Majhi said.

The Chief Minister highlighted PM Modi’s commitment to the state, noting that the Prime Minister is scheduled to visit Odisha twice in January, following three visits in the last six months. These frequent visits underscore the Centre’s interest in bolstering Odisha’s growth across various sectors.

Majhi urged bureaucrats to approach challenges with a sense of collective responsibility and to focus on effective execution of developmental projects. “We have many challenges and opportunities. If we face these challenges together, we can achieve success in all our endeavors,” he added.

The meeting aligns with Odisha’s efforts to enhance infrastructure, generate employment, and attract investments. It also comes at a time when the state is preparing to host the ‘Utkarsh Odisha – Make in Odisha Conclave 2025,’ a key initiative to boost industrial growth and collaboration.

The Chief Minister’s call to action reflects a strategic approach to leveraging the Centre’s support, ensuring the timely execution of key projects that can transform the state’s socio-economic landscape.
