Nikeeta Takale Targets WRC, Dakar Glory

India’s Lone Female APRC Driver Nikeeta Takale Eyes WRC, Dakar Glory
Nikeeta Takale, the only Indian female driver competing in the Asia Pacific Rally Championship (APRC), has set her sights on the World Rally Championship (WRC) and the gruelling Dakar Rally after a stellar performance in the Sumatera Utara Rally.
Racing alongside co-driver Sudhindra BG, Takale clinched three podium finishes in the third round of the APRC, securing the APRC RC4 class title, the APRC Ladies Class title, and the Sumatera Rally RC4 category crown.
Her victories in Indonesia have earned her a spot in the APRC Finals, scheduled to be held in Japan from November 6–8.
Takale said her recent success has strengthened her resolve to compete at the highest levels of rallying, inspiring more women to take up motorsport in India.
