Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday expressed strong optimism about India’s growing leadership in Artificial Intelligence after a “very productive discussion” with Microsoft Chairman and CEO Satya Nadella.
The Prime Minister welcomed Microsoft’s announcement to make its largest-ever investment in Asia in India, calling it a testament to the country’s emergence as a trusted global hub for innovation and technology.
Responding to Nadella’s post on social media, PM Modi wrote that the world is looking at India with confidence when it comes to AI.
“When it comes to AI, the world is optimistic about India! Had a very productive discussion with Mr. Satya Nadella. Happy to see India being the place where Microsoft will make its largest-ever investment in Asia. The youth of India will harness this opportunity to innovate and leverage the power of AI for a better planet.”
The Prime Minister highlighted that India’s young talent pool will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and advancing responsible AI solutions.
