NEW DELHI: The much-anticipated sports drama “Chandu Champion,” starring Kartik Aaryan, has made a strong impression at the box office, amassing Rs 13.1 crore within the first two days of its release.

The film, which opened to audiences on Friday, collected Rs 5.40 crore on its debut day. By Saturday, it added another Rs 7.7 crore to its total earnings, showcasing its growing popularity among moviegoers.

Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Kabir Khan, “Chandu Champion” is based on the inspiring true story of Murlikant Petkar, India’s first Paralympic gold medallist. The film narrates Petkar’s journey, highlighting his determination and resilience in the face of adversity.

“Chandu Champion” is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, in collaboration with Kabir Khan Films. The film’s success is attributed to its compelling storyline, strong performances, and the dynamic direction of Kabir Khan.
