Hockey India Announces 40-Member Core Probable Group for Junior Men’s National Coaching Camp

Hockey India has unveiled a 40-player core probable group for the upcoming Junior Men’s National Coaching Camp, set to commence from June 16 at the Sports Authority of India (SAI) in Bengaluru. This follows the successful European tour of the Indian Junior Men’s Team, where they competed against Belgium, Germany, and Bredase Hockey Vereniging Push from May 20 to 29.

Led by Coach Janardhana C B and supervised by Hockey India’s High Performance Director Herman Kruis, the 63-day camp aims to prepare the team for future international tournaments. It includes five goalkeepers and a lineup of forwards, defenders, and midfielders selected based on their recent performances and potential.

Coach Janardhana C B emphasized the camp’s significance in honing the players’ skills and fostering team cohesion, stating, “Our goal is to develop a cohesive and formidable team ready to take on any challenge.”

The coaching camp will conclude on August 18, aiming to refine strategies and enhance the overall competitiveness of the squad.
