Haryana Govt Transfers 28 IAS Officers, Key Positions Reassigned
In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the Haryana government on Sunday transferred 28 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, including 10 deputy commissioners, with immediate effect. The move comes as part of ongoing administrative realignments aimed at strengthening governance and efficiency across departments.
According to the official order, senior IAS officer C G Rajini Kaanthan has been reassigned as Secretary to the Government of Haryana in the Finance Department. Yash Garg, another senior officer, will now serve as the Director of Industries and Commerce. Additionally, Ashok Kumar Garg has been appointed as the Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram.
The reshuffle also impacts various districts and key government departments. Several deputy commissioners have been relocated to new postings, signaling an effort to bring fresh leadership to crucial administrative positions.
The Haryana government has stated that the transfers are intended to streamline operations and bring about greater efficiency in service delivery. The full list of officer reassignments has been circulated to all concerned departments, with instructions for immediate implementation.
