Godrej Jersey Releases Milk Report Ahead of World Milk Day

Creamline Dairy Products Limited (CDPL), a subsidiary of Godrej Agrovet Limited, has unveiled its latest milk report titled ‘Bottoms Up…India Says Cheers to Milk’. The report reveals that 55% of Indian consumers deem unbranded milk as unhygienic, emphasizing a growing preference for safe and high-quality dairy products.

According to the findings, 1 out of every 2 consumers prioritize hygiene, assured sourcing, and no adulteration when purchasing milk. With 70% of respondents willing to pay a premium for such assurances, the report underscores the increasing demand for pure dairy products.

Bhupendra Suri, CEO of Godrej Jersey, highlighted the shift towards health-conscious consumer choices. He noted the launch of Godrej My Farm Milk, directly sourced from their farm, pasteurized, and packaged using advanced technology to preserve freshness and nutritional value. Available initially in Hyderabad, the product aims for wider distribution across 500+ stores by year-end.

Commissioned by Godrej Jersey and conducted by YouGov, the research encompassed major Indian cities, reflecting evolving consumer preferences ahead of World Milk Day celebrations.
