ECI invites public feedback on ECINet

ECI seeks public feedback to enhance ECINet App by January 10

The Election Commission of India (ECI) has invited citizens to share their suggestions to further improve the newly developed ECINet App, with feedback open till January 10, 2026.

In a statement issued on Friday, the Commission urged citizens to download the ECINet App and submit their inputs through the ‘Submit a Suggestion’ tab available on the platform. The feedback received will be examined and incorporated to make the app more user-friendly and efficient ahead of its official launch later this month.

The trial version of the ECINet App offers enhanced voter services, faster availability of polling percentage trends and publication of Index Cards within 72 hours of the close of polls—an exercise that earlier took several weeks or even months. The app was successfully tested during the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 and subsequent bye-elections.

According to the ECI, the platform is being continuously refined based on feedback from Chief Electoral Officers (CEOs), District Election Officers (DEOs), Electoral Registration Officers (EROs), observers and field officials. Citizen suggestions will now form an important part of this improvement process.

The ECINet platform is one of the major initiatives of the Commission under the leadership of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, along with Election Commissioners Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Vivek Joshi. Development work on the app began after its announcement on May 4, 2025.

Designed as a single, unified interface for citizens, the ECINet App integrates around 40 earlier election-related applications and websites, including the Voter Helpline App, cVIGIL, Saksham, Polling Trends (Voter Turnout App) and Know Your Candidate (KYC) App. The app is available for download on both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
