Ajay Devgn’s ‘Drishyam 3’ to release on October 2, 2026

New Delhi, Dec 22 : Actor Ajay Devgn is all set to return as Vijay Salgaonkar in the much-anticipated third instalment of the popular thriller franchise ‘Drishyam’, with ‘Drishyam 3’ scheduled for a theatrical release on October 2, 2026, the makers announced on Monday.

Filming for the film is currently underway across multiple cities and locations. The makers said the story will move forward within the established Drishyam timeline, bringing new twists and turns that further entangle the lives of the Salgaonkar family.

Over the years, Devgn’s portrayal of Vijay Salgaonkar — a middle-class man who faces adversity with intelligence, resilience, and unwavering devotion to his family — has emerged as one of Hindi cinema’s most iconic on-screen characters. His non-violent yet sharp approach to overcoming challenges has struck a strong chord with audiences since the first film.

According to the production team, Drishyam 3 promises intense, edge-of-the-seat drama as the narrative unfolds. The original ensemble cast, including Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Shriya Saran, and Rajat Kapoor, will reprise their roles, along with several other prominent actors.

Presented by Star Studios, Drishyam 3 is produced by Panorama Studios and directed by Abhishek Pathak, who has also co-written the film with Aamil Keeyan Khan and Parveez Shaikh. The film is produced by Ajit Andhare, Kumar Mangat Pathak, and Abhishek Pathak.

Drishyam 3 is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on October 2, 2026.
