Director Sangeeth Sivan Passes Away at 65
Renowned filmmaker Sangeeth Sivan, acclaimed for his works in both Malayalam and Hindi cinema, including the hits “Yoddha” and “Apna Sapna Money Money,” breathed his last on Wednesday at a hospital in Mumbai. The 65-year-old director succumbed to a cardiac arrest, as confirmed by his brother and cinematographer, Santosh Sivan.
Sangeeth was undergoing treatment at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital when the tragic incident occurred. His demise marks a profound loss for the film fraternity, with colleagues and fans mourning the departure of a talented storyteller.
The last rites for Sangeeth Sivan will be conducted on Thursday at the Oshiwara cemetery, scheduled for 4 pm, according to Santosh Sivan.
