‘Dhurandhar’ to Re-Release in Theatres Worldwide Ahead of Sequel
A week ahead of the much-anticipated Dhurandhar 2, the makers of the blockbuster spy thriller have announced a global theatrical re-release of the first film.
Directed by Aditya Dhar and starring Ranveer Singh, Dhurandhar originally released on December 5, 2025, and became a massive success, earning a staggering Rs 1,300 crore worldwide. Of this, Rs 1,000 crore came from the Indian box office alone, cementing its place as one of the highest-grossing Indian films ever.
According to a press release, Jio Studios and B62 Studios will bring the global hit back to cinemas in a rare theatrical re-release. The movie will screen on approximately 500 screens worldwide—250 in India starting March 12, and 250 overseas from March 13.
This move allows fans to revisit the gripping spy thriller on the big screen before the release of Dhurandhar 2, expected to continue the high-octane story and action sequences that made the original a record-breaking sensation.
