Bhubaneswar, April 7 : Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has embarked on a significant visit to New Delhi to participate in the Odisha Investors’ Meet and oversee the signing of multiple key Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) aimed at accelerating the state’s industrial and economic growth.
Official sources confirmed that the Chief Minister, who left for Delhi on Sunday, will be attending the two-day event until April 9. During this visit, he will address a gathering of prominent stakeholders and industry leaders, articulating Odisha’s strategic vision for industrial transformation and highlighting the pro-investment reforms implemented by the state government.
The event is expected to witness the signing of several vital MoUs with major public sector enterprises, including Indian Oil Corporation Ltd, Petronet LNG, and Indian Strategic Petroleum Reserves Ltd. These collaborations are set to bolster Odisha’s ambitions to become a leading hub in the petrochemical and chemical sectors, supporting the nation’s drive toward sustainable and inclusive growth.
“The Chief Minister’s engagements in Delhi are part of Odisha’s broader mission to create a robust industrial ecosystem, attract significant investments, and generate employment opportunities across sectors,” a senior official stated.
