Bharat Electricity Summit 2026 to Be Held from March 19–22 in New Delhi

Bharat Electricity Summit 2026, a global conference-cum-exhibition for the power and electricity sector, will be held from March 19 to 22, 2026, at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi. The announcement was made by Union Minister of Power and Housing & Urban Affairs, Shri Manohar Lal, who also unveiled the brochure and teaser film for the Summit.

The four-day Summit, themed “Electrifying Growth. Empowering Sustainability. Connecting Globally”, aims to showcase India’s leadership in the global energy transition while addressing emerging challenges and opportunities in the power sector. It will bring together key domestic and international stakeholders from government, industry, academia and civil society to deliberate on the future of electricity and sustainable energy systems.

The event will feature more than 50 high-level conference sessions, expert-led panel discussions, thematic pavilions and technology showcases covering the entire electricity and clean energy value chain. Over 500 exhibitors are expected to participate, with more than 25,000 attendees, 1,000 delegates and 300 speakers from India and across the globe.

Bharat Electricity Summit 2026 will serve as a platform for global policymakers, CEOs, regulators, investors, innovators and solution providers to engage in discussions spanning generation, transmission, distribution, energy storage and smart consumption. A key highlight of the Summit will be a ‘Buyer–Seller Meet’ aimed at accelerating partnerships, fostering cross-border collaborations and unlocking new business opportunities across the global power supply chain.

Addressing the gathering, Shri Manohar Lal said the Summit reflects India’s resolve to shape the future of electricity systems. Quoting Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said India is entering an era of energy abundance, moving from addressing shortages to managing surplus, ensuring resilience and delivering universal excellence. He added that the Summit would act as a launchpad for future achievements by connecting technology providers, infrastructure developers, innovators and decision-makers on a single platform.

The Minister also appreciated the collaborative efforts of the Ministry of Power, its CPSEs, other ministries, states, Union Territories and industry bodies in advancing India’s electricity vision and initiating preparations for the Summit.

The announcement event was attended by senior officials from the Ministry of Power, Central Electricity Authority, CERC, allied ministries, state representatives, officials from foreign embassies and industry bodies, along with senior executives from power generation, transmission and distribution companies.
