The much-anticipated Tamil action thriller “Vidaamuyarchi,” starring Ajith Kumar, has been postponed and will not release on Pongal 2025 as originally planned. The film’s makers, Lyca Productions, announced the delay due to “unavoidable circumstances.”

Directed by Magizh Thirumeni, “Vidaamuyarchi” was set to be a major release during the popular Pongal festival, but the production team cited reasons that prevented the movie from meeting its scheduled release date. The film also stars Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Sarja, and Regina Cassandra in key roles.

Lyca Productions took to its official X page (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday night to share the news with fans, apologizing for the delay and promising to announce the new release date soon.
