IMD Predicts Heavy Rain in Odisha for Next Four Days

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted heavy rainfall across multiple districts in Odisha over the next four days.
According to the IMD’s Bhubaneswar regional centre, the heavy rainfall is due to a cyclonic circulation over the East-central Bay of Bengal. Mayurbhanj, Koraput, and Malkangiri districts are expected to receive heavy rainfall starting Saturday.
The IMD bulletin also indicated that on July 7, several districts including Gajapati, Rayagada, Kalahandi, Nabarangpur, Khurda, Nayagarh, Cuttack, Puri, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Koraput, Malkangiri, Kandhamal, and Ganjam will likely experience heavy to very heavy rainfall.
Authorities have advised residents to take necessary precautions and stay updated with weather reports during this period.
