India Shines at NAFSA Global Education Conference in New Orleans

India made a significant impact at the 76th NAFSA 2024 Conference & Expo, the world’s largest international annual education event, held in New Orleans, Louisiana. The event, which ran from May 28-31, featured an impressive delegation of over 40 major Indian academic institutions, both public and private.
DC Manjunath, the Consul General of India in Houston, inaugurated two Indian pavilions at the conference. In his inaugural address, he emphasized the importance of educational exchanges in building crucial bridges for mutual understanding, learning, and friendships.
“The presence of such a diverse and robust delegation from India highlights the immense potential of Indian education and fosters collaboration between international and Indian academic institutions,” Manjunath said.
The Indian pavilions stood out at the conference, drawing attention to the country’s educational strengths and opportunities. The large Indian delegation underscored the commitment to enhancing global partnerships and showcased the advancements in Indian education to an international audience.
