MUMBAI, May 8: Actor Anant V Joshi has officially joined the fifth season of the acclaimed web series Gullak, stepping into the role of Anand “Annu” Mishra, previously portrayed by Vaibhav Raj Gupta.

Created by Shreyansh Pandey and produced by The Viral Fever (TVF), the slice-of-life family drama has become one of India’s most loved streaming shows for its realistic portrayal of middle-class life.

The series revolves around the Mishra family — father Santosh, mother Shanti, and sons Annu and Aman — capturing their everyday struggles, humour, emotional moments, and family bonds in a small-town setting. The show streams on Sony LIV.
