Gadkari stressed the importance of timely execution, strict adherence to quality standards, and the adoption of advanced construction technologies to ensure durable and efficient highway infrastructure.

He directed officials to accelerate on-ground work, strengthen quality checks, and adopt improved construction methods to enhance asset longevity and provide a smoother travel experience for commuters.

The minister also highlighted the need for comprehensive pre-monsoon preparedness, including drainage clearance, slope stabilisation, and quick response systems to minimise disruptions and ensure road safety during the rainy season.
