‘Hai Jawani…’ reclaims June 5 release date

Varun Dhawan-starrer Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai will now release on June 5 after multiple date changes, the makers confirmed on Wednesday.

The family entertainer had originally been slated for a June 5 release but was later pushed to June 12 to avoid a box-office clash with Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, starring Yash. It was subsequently preponed to May 22.

However, following the announcement that “Toxic” will no longer release on June 4, the producers of “Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai” have reverted to their original release date.

The decision is expected to give the film a clearer run at the box office without direct competition from another major release.

With the date now locked, the film is set to hit theatres nationwide on June 5, aiming to attract family audiences during the early summer window.
