Odisha Govt Reshuffles IAS Officers, Appoints New Malkangiri Collector

The Government of Odisha on Thursday carried out a reshuffle among several IAS officers, appointing Prathamesh Arvind Rajeshirke as the new Collector of Malkangiri.

According to an official notification, the incumbent collector Somesh Kumar Upadhyay has been transferred and posted as Director of Textiles and Handlooms in Odisha.

In another appointment, Smruti Ranjan Pradhan has been named the Managing Director of the Odisha Small Industries Corporation. He will also hold the additional charge of Chief Executive Officer of Startup Odisha.

The reshuffle is part of routine administrative changes undertaken by the state government to streamline governance and improve administrative functioning across departments.
