PM Modi Condoles Deaths of Indian Nationals in Medinah Accident

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday expressed deep grief over the loss of lives in a tragic accident in Medinah, Saudi Arabia, involving Indian nationals. He conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and wished a speedy recovery for those injured.

In a statement released by the Prime Minister’s Office, Modi said that India’s Embassy in Riyadh and Consulate in Jeddah are extending all possible assistance to the affected individuals. He added that Indian officials are in close touch with Saudi authorities to ensure smooth coordination and support.

Sharing his message on X, the Prime Minister wrote:
“Deeply saddened by the accident in Medinah involving Indian nationals. My thoughts are with the families who have lost their loved ones. I pray for the swift recovery of all those injured. Our Embassy in Riyadh and Consulate in Jeddah are providing all possible assistance. Our officials are also in close contact with Saudi Arabian authorities.”
