President Droupadi Murmu to Visit Gujarat from October 9-11

Gandhinagar, Oct 8: The President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu, is scheduled to visit Gujarat from October 9 to 11, 2025, undertaking a series of religious, cultural, and educational engagements across the state.

The President will arrive in Rajkot on the evening of October 9. On October 10, she will perform Darshan and Aarti at Somnath Temple and later visit the Gir National Park. During her visit to Sasan Gir, she will also interact with members of the local tribal community.

On October 11, President Murmu will perform Darshan and Aarti at Dwarkadhish Temple in Dwarka. She will also grace the 71st convocation ceremony of Gujarat Vidyapith in Ahmedabad on the same day.

Officials stated that the visit aims to strengthen cultural, environmental, and educational engagement in Gujarat, reflecting the President’s commitment to promoting heritage and community welfare.
