Odisha govt plans new secretariat building

Odisha Govt to Construct New State Secretariat in Bhubaneswar
The Odisha government has initiated the process for building a new state secretariat in Bhubaneswar, Works Minister Prithviraj Harichandan informed the assembly on Saturday.
Responding to a query from BJD MLA Subasini Jena, Harichandan said the Odisha Bridge and Construction Corporation (OBCC) has been directed to prepare the master plan for the proposed Lok Seva building.
“Once the plan is approved, the budgetary requirement will be estimated and forwarded to the government for final approval,” the minister said.
The new secretariat is expected to serve as a modern administrative hub, replacing the existing infrastructure and meeting the growing needs of governance in the state.
