World Skill Center Bhubaneswar Opens Admissions for September 2025 Session

Bhubaneswar, Aug 19 : The World Skill Center (WSC), Odisha’s premier skill development institution established under the state’s Skilled-in-Odisha vision, has announced the opening of online applications for its September 2025 session.

The last date for submission of applications is September 1, 2025. Selection will be made through an online entrance test, officials said.

The WSC offers seven advanced one-year diploma programs under two departments — the School of Engineering and the School of Services. Courses in the School of Engineering include Precision Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, Mechanical & Electrical Services, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, and Vertical Transportation. The School of Services offers a specialized program in Beauty and Wellness.

Eligibility criteria vary: candidates with a two-year ITI or three-year Diploma can apply for engineering courses, while those with +2, ITI in related trade, or a Diploma in any discipline may also apply.

The WSC, developed with technical support from ITEES Singapore, emphasizes global-standard pedagogy, hands-on training, and industry-aligned curriculum. Apart from technical skills, students receive training in communication, personality development, and digital literacy.

The institute also provides hostel facilities, uniforms, logistics support, and placement assistance, enabling students to secure opportunities with reputed national and international companies.
