GCPL Q4 Profit Hits ₹412 Crore

GCPL Posts ₹412 Crore Q4 Profit, Recovers from Last Year’s Loss

Godrej Consumer Products Ltd (GCPL), a leading FMCG company, reported a consolidated net profit of ₹411.9 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 2025, marking a strong rebound from a loss of ₹1,893.21 crore in the same period last year.

The recovery in profit is attributed to steady volume growth in the domestic market, the company stated in a regulatory filing on Tuesday. In the corresponding quarter last year, the company had reported a significant loss due to impairment charges related to its Africa business, including the Strength of Nature unit.

GCPL’s revenue from operations for the quarter stood at ₹3,597.95 crore, up from ₹3,385.61 crore in the year-ago period, reflecting healthy topline growth.

The company’s performance signals a strategic turnaround, particularly with improved domestic operations, even as global challenges persist. Analysts view the result as a positive indicator for GCPL’s ongoing restructuring and focus on core markets.
