President Droupadi Murmu will embark on a two-day visit to Odisha from March 24, an official statement confirmed on Wednesday.

During her visit, President Murmu will attend the foundation day celebrations of the Bharatiya Bishwabasu Sabar Samaj at Kaliapalli in Nayagarh. She is scheduled to arrive in Bhubaneswar from Raipur before traveling to Kantilo in Nayagarh by helicopter.

As part of her itinerary, she will visit the revered Kantilo Nilamadhab Temple before participating as the chief guest in the function at Kaliapalli.

The visit holds cultural and social significance, as the President is expected to interact with community representatives and address the gathering. Security arrangements have been tightened in Nayagarh and surrounding areas in preparation for her visit.

Further details of her engagements during the two-day tour are expected to be released by officials in the coming days.
