TAIPEI: Asus, the Taiwanese tech giant, is eyeing significant opportunities in India’s personal computer (PC) market, as the country’s low penetration rate presents promising prospects for growth, according to senior company officials.
With India’s PC market outperforming global trends, Asus is optimistic about its prospects in the country. Arnold Su, Vice President of Consumer and Gaming PCs at Asus India, highlighted the favorable conditions, stating, “India’s PC penetration per household is around 10 to 11 per cent. Which means around 90 per cent of Indian households still do not have a PC, which means it is a very good opportunity for us.”
The Taiwanese PC manufacturer has witnessed positive growth in the Indian market, buoyed by increasing demand and favorable market dynamics. As the digital landscape continues to evolve and remote work and education become more prevalent, the demand for PCs is expected to rise further in India.
Asus’ strategic focus on catering to the evolving needs of Indian consumers and delivering innovative products tailored to local preferences positions the company for success in this dynamic market. With a robust portfolio of consumer and gaming PCs, Asus aims to capitalize on the growing demand and solidify its position as a key player in India’s PC industry.
