Odisha CM Begins Five-Day UAE Visit for Investments

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Tuesday began his five-day visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as part of the state government's efforts to attract investments and strengthen business ties, officials said.

Majhi reached Abu Dhabi on Tuesday evening, where he was welcomed by UAE officials, representatives of the Embassy of India in the UAE and Odisha government Additional Chief Secretary Hemant Sharma.

During his visit, the Chief Minister is scheduled to hold road shows and business meetings with investors to showcase Odisha's investment potential and explore opportunities for new projects in the state.

Sharma, in a video message, said Majhi would hold a series of business meetings with investors during the UAE visit.

The visit is aimed at presenting Odisha as an attractive investment destination and encouraging investors from the UAE to explore opportunities across different sectors in the state.

The Chief Minister's UAE tour is part of the Odisha government's continued efforts to strengthen its engagement with international investors and facilitate fresh investments that can contribute to industrial growth and employment generation in the state.
