Social Media Influencer Arrested for Bike Stunt in Mumbai

A social media influencer was arrested on Thursday for performing a dangerous stunt on a motorbike in Mumbai’s Andheri area, police said.

The influencer, identified as Ansh Vikas Chopra, was taken into custody by officers from the Versova police station after videos of the stunt surfaced online.

According to officials, Chopra was released later in the day following standard legal procedures. Police said further investigation is underway, and strict action would be taken against reckless acts that endanger public safety.

Authorities have repeatedly warned against such stunts on busy city roads, emphasising that violations not only risk lives but also encourage unsafe behaviour among young followers on social media
