Amitabh, Rajinikanth, Shah Rukh, Aamir to Attend Inaugural WAVES Summit in Mumbai

India’s biggest icons from the film industry are set to grace the inaugural World Audio Visual & Entertainment Summit (WAVES), a landmark initiative aimed at positioning India as a global powerhouse for content creation. The summit will be held from May 1 to 4 at Mumbai’s Jio World Convention Centre, and will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The high-profile event will witness the presence of cinematic legends such as Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Chiranjeevi, and many more, making it one of the most star-studded industry gatherings in recent memory.

One of the key highlights of the opening day will be a panel discussion titled “Legends & Legacies: The Stories That Shaped India’s Soul”, featuring veterans of Indian cinema — Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Mithun Chakraborty, Mohanlal, Chiranjeevi, and Hema Malini. The session will be moderated by actor Akshay Kumar, promising a powerful conversation reflecting on the evolution of Indian storytelling through the decades.

WAVES is envisioned as a global platform to bring together creators, producers, industry leaders, and innovators in film, television, OTT, animation, and gaming.
