Khanduri Remembered For Service, Infrastructure Legacy

Vice-President Pays Tribute to Former Uttarakhand CM B.C. Khanduri in Dehradun
Vice-President of India C. P. Radhakrishnan on Wednesday paid heartfelt tributes to former Union Minister and former Uttarakhand Chief Minister B. C. Khanduri at his residence in Dehradun.
Remembering the veteran leader, the Vice-President described Major General Khanduri as an extraordinary leader, distinguished soldier and seasoned administrator who dedicated his life to the service of the nation and its people.
He said Khanduri’s immense contribution towards improving connectivity and strengthening India’s road infrastructure would remain a lasting legacy in the country’s development journey.
Major General Khanduri, a former Army officer and senior BJP leader, had served as Union Minister for Surface Transport and also held the office of Chief Minister of Uttarakhand. He was widely recognised for his administrative efficiency and focus on infrastructure development.
